I-Phone Inspirations
When I was synching my i-phone tonight I discovered 100s of photos I’ve snapped as inspiration for future knitting, embroidery and fabric projects. The grouping of photos is eclectic, but each was snapped for a reason.
- An amazing flower at my Oakland flower shop a few days before we moved.
- My friend Lisa painted this fabric by hand. Now I have to figure out how to knit it.
- First week in Burlington. Very cool winter hats. Can’t wait to chart this one.
- Vermont’s winter berries. These would make a beautiful fabric.
- One of the many repeats I photographed at Mood Fabrics in NY.
- I love this color combo and had to sneak the photo so the little girl wearing the jacket didn’t think I was stalking her.
- Cool beans. I don’t want to knit these. I’d rather paint them.
- Tulips at the Shelburne Museum.
- A quilt from the mid 1850s — but look at the modern color palette. I’m gonna knock that off.
- The same quilt. I snapped this for embroidery ideas — see my shoes from a post in April. It’s almost the identical motif.
